CRYSTAL TRENCH

Grand Rapids, MI

crystal trench seems inextricable from the constant, cyclical flow of gloom and bloom that surrounds them. They’ve built their world around the ethereal, trance-like state of genres like darkwave and noise, with nods to their more energetic post-punk and synth-pop influences sprinkled throughout- creating a sound that’s both as dark, and as sparkly as their name implies. Catch them Sunday at T-Rex Fest!

CLAWFOOT

Grand Rapids, MI

Clawfoot band promo photo

Clawfoot is a cryptic darkwave synth rock project hailing from the midwest shadows of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cloaked in funeral lace and red fog, they weave nocturnal hymns and haunting stories into hopeful melodies. Expect brooding electronic sermons and gothic cathedral songbirds that kiss your cheek before vanishing into a black velvet curtain. Make sure to check out their debut show on the closing night of T-Rex Fest!

FLESH AND BLOOD ROBOT

Lansing, MI

Flesh and Blood Robot helped ignite the early Extreme Metalcore/Deathcore scene before vanishing in 2006. Nearly two decades later, the Michigan-based chaos machine has reanimated. With four original members and Rick Woods (See You Next Tuesday) now attached, this chaos machine is more unhinged and volatile than ever. Flesh and Blood Robot resurrects with fresh limbs, old wounds, and unfinished business. In March 2024, the band reunited at the Pyramid Scheme with a little help on guitar from their childhood friend, Billy Strings. The video above shows some of the madness from that sold-out show.
